'UFC 219: Cyborg vs Holm' predictions: Rose Namajunas weighs in

Reigning UFC Women's Strawweight Champion Rose "Thug" Namajunas, 25, knows that it feels like to be the underdog that eventually emerges victorious. This appears to be her basis when asked who she thought would win the UFC Women's Featherweight Championship bout between Cristiane Justino, 32, who is professionally known as Cris Cyborg, and Holly "The Preacher's Daughter" Holm, 36, at "UFC 219."

For Namajunas, Cyborg will lose to Holm. Referring to Holm, the reigning UFC Women's Strawweight Champion told TMZ Sports, "She's already proven that if she's the underdog, she can surprise people."

Namajunas was also the underdog when she challenged then UFC Women's Strawweight Champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk at "UFC 217." The latter lost the title when she was knocked out by the former via punches at 3:03 of Round 1.

Currently, Namajunas holds a record of 7 wins and 3 losses. The only three opponents she lost to are Tecia Torres, Carla Esparza and Karolina Kowalkiewicz.

On the other hand, Holm has 11 wins and 3 losses. Those three losses consecutively took place right after she defeated Ronda "Rowdy" Rousey, 30.

Holm was the underdog when she faced Rousey, who was then the UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion, at "UFC 193" on Nov. 15, 2015 in Melbourne, Australia. MMA fans around the world when the latter was knocked out by the former via head kick at 0:59 of Round 2.

After losing to Holm, Rousey went back to the cage on "UFC 207" in Las Vegas, Nevada facing Amanda Nunes on Dec. 30, 2016. Nunes needed only 48 seconds to knock out Rousey via punches.

After losing to Holm and Nunes, Rousey has yet to fight again and she is set to star with Mark Wahlberg in "Mile 22." Wahlberg recently told Men's Health that he is losing 6 percent body fat for the movie.

Rousey's most recent win was against Bethe Correia, who is the most recent opponent of Holm prior to "UFC 219." For Holm, beating Cyborg will not be an easy task considering that the latter has an impressive record of 18 wins, 1 loss and 1 No Contest.

With the championship bout between Cyborg and Holm as the main event, the co-main event at "UFC 219" is a lightweight bout between undefeated Russian fighter Khabib Nurmagomedov and his Brazilian opponent Edson "Junior" Barboza, Jr. Watch their official weigh-in here:
