“Brave News,” the online show that keeps fans around the world updated
on Brave Combat Federation, comes back with a huge update from Europe.
Announced on the show was the Bahrain-based mixed martial arts promotion’s 13th
event “Brave 13,” which will take place at the SSE Arena in Belfast, Northern
Ireland on June 9, 2018.
“Brave 13” will mark Brave CF’s first event in Europe. The full fight
card has yet to be announced but Abdul-Kareem “Pride of Palestine” Al-Selwady
of Amman, Jordan has recently reached out to the promotion through an open
message requesting a fight in the upcoming card in Belfast.
It was Erik Carlsson of Gothenburg, Sweden who responded by challenging
Al-Selwady. The Jordanian fighter recently revealed that he had accepted the
challenge and signed to face the Swedish contender.
Carlsson currently has 6 wins and 3 losses while Al-Selwady has 9 wins
and 1 loss. “Brave 13” will mark Carlsson’s fourth and Al-Selwady’s fifth Brave
CF bout.
In Brave CF, Carlsson defeated Gadzhimusa Gaziev but lost to Jarrah
Hussein Al-Silawi and Ahmed Amir. In Carlsson’s most recent bout, he lost to
Amir via split decision at “Brave 9: The Kingdom of Champions.”
On the other hand, Al-Selwady is undefeated in the promotion, having
defeated Rami Aziz, Michael Deiga-Scheck, Erick Carlos Silva and Charlie Leary.
In Al-Selwady’s most recent bout, he defeated Leary via unanimous decision at
“Brave 10: The Kingdom Rises.”
Before “Brave 13,” Brave CF will be in Indonesia for “Brave 12: KHK
Legacy.” The 12th event of the promotion will take place at Balai Sarbini Hall
in Jakarta on May 11, 2018 and fight fans can catch it live at Abu Dhabi Sports, StarSat and Combate in the respective territories.
In the main event of “Brave 12: KHK Legacy,” Eldar Eldarov of Russia
will clash with Brian Hooi of the Netherlands in a lightweight bout. In the
co-main event of the evening, Tahar Hadbi of Algeria will face Jarrah “The
Jordanian Lion” Al Selawe of Jordan.
