Eldarov of Russia and Brian Hooi of the Netherlands will headline "Brave
12: KHK Legacy.” Attending the 12th event of Brave Combat Federation
is reigning
UFC Lightweight Champion Khabib Nurmagomedov’s father and coach Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov.
A mixed
martial arts legend,
Abdulmanap is one of the most sought after coaches in Russia today. At “Brave
12: KHK Legacy,” he will be at the corner of Eldarov, who currently holds a
professional MMA record of 9 wins and 1 loss.
The
only fighter who defeated Eldarov is Khabib. Almost nine years before becoming
the UFC Lightweight Champion, Khabib knocked out Eldarov via punches at “Tsumada
Fighting Championship 3” in their hometown Dagestan, Russia.
In the
main event of "Brave 12: KHK Legacy," Eldarov will clash with Brian
Hooi of the Netherlands in a lightweight bout. In the co-main event of the
evening, Tahar Hadbi of Algeria will face Jarrah "The Jordanian Lion"
Al Selawe of Jordan.
At
"Brave 10: The Kingdom Rises," which took place in Amman, Jordan,
Al-Selawe faced David Bear of France. With Hadbi in his corner, the French
fighter went toe to toe against his Jordanian opponent, who won the hearts of
thousands of countrymen.
Al-Selawe elevated
himself to the status of national hero by submitting the formidable French
fighter at the very end of their fight but not all were happy with the outcome.
Now, Hadbi is set to avenge the loss of his teammate at ObyFight in the co-main
event.
Taking place at Balai Sarbini Hall in Jakarta, Indonesia on May 11, 2018, “Brave 12: KHK Legacy” will be unique for featuring multiple IMMAF medalists.
